To commemorate the Semiquincentennial of our Nation’s founding, this special one-year issue of the 2026 United States Mint Proof Set contains 10 beautiful proof-quality coins, each bearing the “S” mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco.

The 2026 Proof Set features the Semiquincentennial Quarters Program coins with elegant proof finishes honoring:

• Mayflower Compact – an early agreement among the settlers to govern themselves by majority rule.
• Revolutionary War – George Washington led the American colonies’ fight to gain independence from British rule.
• Declaration of Independence – Thomas Jefferson was instrumental in drafting the document announcing the colonies’ separation from Britain.
• U.S. Constitution – Reflects James Madison’s foundational framework for structuring and limiting federal power through a separation of powers and checks and balances.
• Gettysburg Address – Abraham Lincoln’s seminal speech that redefines the Civil War as a fight for equality and democracy.
