What started as a simple hobby turned into something much more in 1999, when the U.S. State Quarters were first released. That moment sparked the realization that a lifelong passion for coins could grow into a real business.
For many years, Kavanaugh’s Coins was run alongside a career as a Senior Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry. In 2020, the business had grown enough to become a full-time focus. That shift allowed even more time to do what we love: finding great coins and helping collectors build meaningful collections.
We specialize in U.S. coins, with a strong focus on Silver Eagles, Modern Morgan and Peace Dollars, Proof Sets, and Modern Commemoratives. Our approach is simple. We identify modern rarities with strong potential for future appreciation and offer them with confidence.
